★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you order the rice dish be prepared to get a giant serving! It's a great cheap eats and the food is yummy. I go there regularly and you can also get sharing dishes which are well priced, tasty and the service is quick. The sichuan dumplings are highly recommended along with the duck bao buns. I'm working my way through the menu on my lunch breaks ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible comparison to the images online when ordering from Uber eats. The dumplings were meant to be fried, why are they steamed? The Wonton was meant to have some soup but there is barely some there. There isn't even any chicken with the Curry Chicken rice set?!? Very disappointed and will not order from here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Kuai Dian for dinner the other night as we felt like eating Chinese food. They specialise in Sichuan style food but have dishes from other Chinese cuisines too. Their focus is on ‘fast’ food and they have a large number of different options with over 70 to choose from.
We tried a bunch of different dishes. We had; the Crispy Duck Salad, Dan Dan Noodles, Crispy Chicken, Sweet Glutinous Rice Cake, Sichuan Chili Oil Dumplings and lastly the Sichuan Style Fish (Blue Cod) - new item that’s not shown on menu. We also each had a bubble tea.
We definitely over ordered but ate the rest as leftovers for lunch the next day. Everything was really delicious and I don’t think anything was a let down. Although I suggest you eat the Crispy Chicken fast as it goes a bit hard once it goes cold - taste was still good.
The highlights of our meal were definitely the Sichuan Style Fish (you can’t wrong with this one!), the duck salad (it was so refreshing and went nicely with the duck which was perfectly cooked with crispy skin) and the noodles. I would definitely eat everything we ordered again!
The quality of food is really good and well priced. The staff are also really kind and friendly. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat Chinese food in Newmarket (or Auckland in general) I highly recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lunch with the family at Kuai Dian Eatery today. Had a great dining experience! My dad had the crispy duck noodle soup, he said the food is beautiful. My little one loved the pork buns, which was served quick and warm. The portion of the spicy pork rice set is so huge that could be easily shared by two ppl. Dumplings are so fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, a few vegetarian options as well! Only thing is that the restaurant closed as we were eating and the cook/another woman who couldn’t speak English made us feel a bit rushed and uncomfortable so we didn’t really get to enjoy the food slowly. A heads up that they were closing would have been more appropriate. Otherwise, nice food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is one of the many located on Khyber Pass close to Broadway. They serve a series of different types of Chinese food. They make their own dumplings, which you can watch from behind glass.
We ordered a few items to share between us; The duck fried noodles, the duck fried rice, beef in stone bowl and dumplings in spicy soup.
The dumplings were quite tasty and the soup had the numbness and flavour of Szechuan peppercorn. The flavour wasn't very strong but you could tell it was there. The other items were also quite tasty and quite full of meat. The beef was interesting since it looked like dolsot bibimbap but had the flavour of Chinese stirfried beef. The rice, if left long enough, because crispy and quite tasty. We also grabbed one of the fried dough sticks with peanut and chocolate for dessert and that was quite tasty. Their pearl milk tea was ok, sweet with a strong tea flavour.
It was a nice place for a meal. They have quite interesting items as well as a special combo if you were wanting to try a variety of different things. They also have a rewards system by giving you a stamp with every $10 you spend and then you get discounts based on how many stamps you've collected. Quite a nice place for a meal or snack.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beef noodle soup was absolutely delicious! The broth is very aromatic and the beef pieces are incredibly soft and melts in your mouth. Quite oily but flavour is very strong. One key point is the service- the male worker/manager(?) there is very friendly, easygoing and humorous, and the sense of care makes the whole experience so much better.
