★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Better than the holiday park? Good alternative to stay around Tekapo. Beautiful landscapes and stars. Toilet and trash cans. Very calm.
Need $10 per adult. Worth it.

Only downside is the campervan area has little shade and are on rough noisey gravel.
Overall a very clean site, basic facilities, long drops and well water (non-drinking).
Stunning views, lakes, walks and wildlife.

Beautiful location: quiet lake (I swam it in twice with no ill effects), stunning stars and sunrise. Long-drop toilets and a good cooking/washing up area with hand pump water.
Camp committee member, Graham, was super friendly and helpful.
Stock up on food and drinks in Tekapo, about 15 mins drive away. We stayed two nights it was so nice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome little campsite, thank you Graham for being so friendly and welcoming. The highlight is the dark sky, you can actually make out the milky way at night, its superb! We had lovely swims in the lake too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice campground with lovely views and easy access to the lake. Very peaceful and the custodian was great. Basic amenities but perfect if you are self contained or organised.
