 It's very hot and there are so many people. As a northerner, I think it tastes good. Will go again. I don't know why so many people yelled at one point. Squadron.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was recommended to me by the hotel receptionist next door when I visited one of my work colleagues from out of town. The place was packed on a Tuesday night, which is a great sign and the atmosphere was really positive. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The staff and their service were top notch and I thought the prices were very good for this part of Auckland. I was back again the next night for a beer with my work colleague and I will most definitely be finding excuses to go there again. A great find! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I came here last week, after making a booking by telephone. Despite making a telephone booking, we were waiting about 45 minutes for the first item of food to arrive, even though all orders were simple nibbles.
Also, the food we had ordered was a poor imitation of Japanese style Izakaya food, which is generally delicious. My wife is Japanese and we have lived in Japan, so know this food well.
Lastly, service was poor. We had to ask several times for basic items such as serviettes, the drinks we had ordered, etc.
Definitely room for improvement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate here tonight and the food was pretty good. Price was fair and the staff were attentive. Although if you like the usual cuts of meat (chicken breast, etc) there is slightly limited choices. All in all it is a great place to eat
