★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such a great experience staying there for the few months we spent.People at the camping ground really lovely. All facilities always tidy and clean . Everything well set up for cleaning and cutting fish at the camping and amazing shallow areas for diving around there! We are gonna miss this place for sure

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location, kitchen facilities were minimal, stove top rings were rusted and flaking, have your own gear including dishwashing liquid and cleaning gear as there are none supplied. The location does make up for it with beaches in both sides of the grounds.

The staff are lovel and really friendly.
Only gripe would be how expensive it is to stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely camp. Gorgeous clean white sand bay & clear rocky bay on the other side of camp. Quite expensive & extra charge if you prefer beach front site. Very clean facilities. Walkway up to the Rainbow Warrior Memorial was pretty cool although could do with some maintenence up on the memorial site & a map of exactly where in the bay the Rainbow Warrior was put to rest. Popular beach for surfers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful location to unwind . Friendly staff, good amenities bathroom & kitchen cleaned regularly. We had booked for the long waitangi weekend but had to cut short due to bad weather and a friends tent collapsed , but will keep going back to this place. Highly recommend. They have a pretty well stocked general store at site , gas station. A must visits place if you have t. Check the weather though.
