โ โ โ โ โ We always get served by surly staff and although we order the same things, what you get is inconsistent.
Soggy, bland ingredients, poor service and itโs always really empty when we go (Weekend lunchtime or weekday evenings when youโd expect a few customers.) Disappointing for what it costs.
Have turned up one evening and they had closed an hour early, when we asked why the staff said they werenโt sure. Doesnโt seem like they care about their food or customers so wonโt be in a rush to return.

โ โ โ โ โ Poor customer service, myself and family came in, waiting for our order, the incompetent service which was given was useless, didnโt know which one was the shredded pork, ingredients/ juices dripping all over the taco, and packaging, after standing around not bothering to do the rest of the order we ended up walking out since took far to long. While Uber eats order took more of a priority then physical customers in the store

โ โ โ โ โ I've had two consecutive bad experiences here with the same lady. Summatively, due to her mishearing me my order was incorrect, she also put cheese on my order before waiting for a reply when she asked if I wanted any, she mischarged me twice, could not give me correct pricing information when I asked, and most shockingly when she mischarged me and I asked for my tiny refund she tried to tell me that I was wrong despite me reading what was written on the menu AND did not apologise when she gave me the money back. I am never eating there again.
(2 stars for mexicali's general menu, the freshness of the food, and I'm sure that the other staff have better customer service).

โ โ โ โ โ Burrito was okay, the fries were nowhere as good as the Ponsonby store. However the customer service was about 1 star or worse. The staff served me asked me to choose some options and I didnโt quite understand what they were. So I asked her to explain and she was very impatient and said as little words as possible while giving me a horrible look. Iโm not sure if she was over worked or actually being rude but customers donโt deserve this kinda attitude. Also 2 out of 3 staff didnโt wear a face mask preparing for the food while the current restriction still requires staff in food industry to do so.

Forgetting items of orders for delivery is a basic rookie error, and refunding the item is a cop-out.
When I rung up and complained the manager just laughed it off and said "she's been getting things wrong all night".
Do you employ staff that can't read or don't care?
Why would people order from you again if you can't organise a basic order?
The whole meal should be refunded as its incomplete, not just the missing items.
I would have gone elsewhere if I knew how slack Mexicali Fresh Lincoln Rd is.
Now I have to go up the road to replace what was missed.
This has happened several times now, so I
would NOT recommend.
