★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can reach milford sound by plane and land at Milford sound airport which is one of the most scenic airports I have seen in my life. The planes can only land by flying out to the ocean and then approach the airport by flying through the milford sound. In a way this flight is also a sightseeing flight. Very difficult approach for a pilot.
