★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe that Morrinsville Township is like stepping back in time and fully appreciate how NZ towns used to be. A clean environment without graffiti or litter reflects the pride of place and friendliness of the locals. There are many cafe's and eateries offering variety of delicious fare and excellent service, also the original photogenic Hotel has an extraordinary sculpture on the corner. See as many of the '' Herd of Cows '' painted sculptures as possible and don't forget to get a selfie in front of the 7 meters tall '' Mabel the Meg '' just 2 minutes away. The scenic countryside leading to and from Morrinsville is beautiful, the roads are smooth, easy and undulating. Well worth a day out in the country, I recommend Morrinsville.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main street of Morrinsville which is the home of our Prime Minister Jacinda Arden, is about 1 k in length. As a business initiative 45 cows have been sculpted, decorated and placed on a large number of footpaths near intersections . I liked the one outside the Police Station.
