★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love nandos. End of. And the chicken here was great as was the chips and the coleslaw. However any experience can always be improved by the surroundings and this is where Albany was let down. The walls were scraped and had holes in them, hand wash area was not that clean and it leaves you with a feeling of griminess which makes you squirm a bit in your seat through the whole thing. You know that part in Elf when Buddy gets sent down to the mailroom? That’s what it felt like here without the “special syrup” Buddy got to drink...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week I went there to buy a whole peri-peri chicken for takeaway with a lot of basting and I did get it. It was a good experience.
And today, I came back order the same thing, but this time is a disappointment. After arguing back and forth for more basting, I ended up had to pay extra for the basting. Not happy at all.
You just lose a customer over a basting.
FYI: Nandos in North West doesn't charge for the extra basting. I guess that will be my go to Nandos going forward.

When I contacted them, I spoke to a want to be manager who didn't understand the English language and she then tried to convince me the don't make mistakes. Sadly I had throw the burger in the dustbin and ended up ordering from somewhere else. Would not recommend Nando's Albany!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I were really disappointed in our recent experience here. The service was good, however, prior to COVID this place used to serve delicious food. Now it seems standards have dropped. The seat we were told to sit at had an oily hand print and crumbs everywhere on the couch. The bottled coke was flat, the chips had some fresh but was mixed with others that were old and cold. The chicken in the burger was incredibly dry to the point that it had hardened around the edges, I also was burnt by it and it seemed like it had been reheated. I found it disappointing to be paying so much for food of this quality. Will return if this improves, but for now I'll make the trip to other Nandos stores with better quality food and cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store has totally misunderstood the government guidelines relating to Red (Phase Two), which stipulate that retail rules apply to takeaway orders.
As I didn’t have my vaccine pass on me when picking up my takeaway order (ordered through their app), the cashier asked me to wait outside while they finished my order and refused to sell me a soft drink.
