Delays

  • As a result of aircraft engineering issues, there are delays to some parcels sent by courier between the North and South Islands yesterday in both directions.

Delays to Mail Items:

  • Due to precautionary maintenance on some of our electric mail buggies, delays of up to 2 days are expected for mail items across the country. These delays only impact mail delivered through our Paxster fleet – not Courier or Rural items.
  • As our posties continue to deliver mail with a reduced fleet and through other means of transport, there is a small backlog forming. This will clear once the Paxsters are back up and running.  

Delays to Parcels:

  • We are experiencing delays of up to 2 days with parcel deliveries across much of the North Island, excluding Central and East Auckland, Palmerston North and Wellington, and up to 3 days in the Waikato/Hamilton area as a result of ongoing high levels of absenteeism due to illness.
  • We are experiencing delays for parcel delivery of up to 2 days across much of the South Island, excluding Nelson, Blenheim, Timaru and Ashburton.

We’re working hard to get all items to their destinations safely but apologise for the inconvenience caused by these delays.

Have no understanding of the severity of covid …. Especially the female driver ….. social distancing goes a long way …. For a government owned enterprise I would expect policies and procedures in place and be adhered to

Redirection what a joke, they are not interested in redirecting if you want your parcel best you go and pick it up. After I requested redelivery online, no scans were shown on the tracking devise, apparently the goods stayed in the courier from 11.54am and did not get taken back to the depot until after hours, so could not be delivered the next day (being today )and expect me to wait until tomorrow. Poor customer service and poor attitude.

If I pay full retail rates for over nigh delivery I think its fair to expect what I have paid for!! $40 for a cd player to be delivered is alot of money and dont expect to be told by the call centre that overnight delivery is NOT a guarantee!!..excuse me??...My parcel was in the Hastings office at 4.30am [+/-] according to the tracking. So a phone call at 4pm gets the reply...The driver has gone home for the day and your parcel will be delivered tomorrow!...What a totally slack attitude. Im in town. Not rural or hard to find. AND...there are NO holdups or delays with national freight according to their voicemail on the contact page. And does anything ever happen...and that will be a NO.

It took 2 days to deliver a parcel 6km! The Courier driver didn’t even bother to come to the door, just left a card in the letterbox before 8am saying they’d been. I was home expecting them to come and the doorbell never rang and no one knocked. I rang as soon as my carer gave me the card and was told I’d have to wait until the next day for redelivery. The Supervisor was rude and obstructive and I had difficulty getting past her to speak to the Manager. I had to keep ringing and even then it wasn’t delivered at the time he’d promised. Plenty of other companies out there people, hopefully some who value their customers more than these guys do.

My 5 parcels shows that courier for delivery in the morning and i cannot receive in rest of the day and when i track my courier it shows parcel in depot. I call to depot today and they are very rude with me.

I placed a complaint as my parcel was delivered while I was home and I got a card to say collect from office as I have locked gates. I would have opened the gates or arranged leave my parcel however I received the Emilia at 0600 and I was still asleep. I have heard nothing from the complaint. Two days later I am home curtains open obviously home and awake the courier once again drops a card into the letterbox. I got it 10 mins later. He made not effort to deliver at all. I am tired of this lazy courier driver who does not attempt to provide any service at all.

Driver gave my package too a stranger assuming they knew me apparently the driver was knew at his job still no excuse. I put specific instructions too follow. they said they will sort it out on there side and still waiting on them.

Delivery was quick, but driver was rude and arrogant. Loud thumping music, all while parked right up to our house. Meanwhile he reorganised his van. Rudely argued with my hubby when asked to move on. Not cool.
