A history of innovation
Post Haste has been looking after New Zealand's courier needs for over 40 years now, beginning as Armourguard Security way back in 1977. We were one of the first courier companies to blaze a trail in New Zealand, and have been innovating since the 1970s. Since then, so much has changed, yet at our heart we remain the same – a Kiwi business with strong Kiwi values of doing it right by our customers.
The brand
In 2020 we made the decision to re-fresh the brand logo in an effort to not only refresh the image but to refresh our business attitude by investment in our customers, operations and innovation technology that supports both.
It is important that our brand reflects the major factors that influence our business and the pathway that has been created to achieve our goals.
The fern, an iconic symbol that represents our commitment to New Zealand business and the people that grow them. At Post Haste this two-tone fern with its soft edges is a reflection of our business approach. Kiwi centric, based on the strength of relationships between our customers and ourselves and the road we travel together.

β β β β β Crickey!! Stay well away from these Couriers!! Absolutely disgusting service & communication!! Paid for Signature Required Courier service for a $1,000+ package & they just left it on my βopen porchβ!! Worst still the attitude of their boss was pathetic. Basically as far as they were concerned he got a telling off so end of story....Ahhh no, you are a Company offering a βPublic Serviceβ that you get paid for, you donβt get to sweep your βunprofessionalismβ under the carpet. The Boss in the Napier branch βTaniaβ needs a refresher course on addressing the public, just shocking! Interrupts while I was explaining, down playing the Employees actions....Just donβt even bother sending your items with them, unless your willing to take a risk...

β β β β β I think I had the same response "new Driver" I've rung many times and still no parcel. It was only going from Havelock to Napier. I could have walked quicker. By bother to set up ATL when they dont pay any attention and list as office closed. I will refuse to buy products in future if Post Haste is courier as too much trouble. Also it says they ate open till 11am Saturday but phones say outside hours. Useless.

β β β β β Terrible couriers. Doesn't even get out of the vehicle if a gate is closed just puts a card out and leaves, even with vehicles parked in the driveway. Use anyone else!

β β β β β What good is a Birthday present which isn't delivered on the day or at least prior but the package has been riding with the courier driver for a whole day now only coz they couldn't deliver to the right address in the first place. East means East not West.
And does anyone answer the phones at their Branch.
Not the first time, therefore the write up.

β β β β β 17/12/2021 10:51am in Flaxmere, Hastings, near beginning of Portsmouth Rd, on the wrong side of the road where parked cars park, for about 10 - 20 meters, a Posthast van was driving. I was heading out of Flaxmere on Portsmouth Rd so the van was oncoming on my left inside.. at the same time two oncoming cars were on my right, where they should be. After I past the van who was still moving, the van pulls out suddenly infront of the vehicles almost hitting the first car then swings into a street on the right. People like that that drive for posthaste can cause some serious accidents. Our roads are not safe with your driver's if they going to drive like that. Please see the driver be taught to drive safe. Our people are precious.

β β β β β I wanted to submit an authority to leave form for a parcel expected tomorrow. The instructions say to fill it in and FAX it back. As I live in the 21st century and not the 19th, I no longer have a fax. So I tried phoning the local branch. NO ONE ANSWERED, TWICE. On my first attempt I tried waiting 2.5 minutes for someone to pick up the phone, then gave up. The second time I waited over SEVEN MINUTES and still no one answered. These calls were made between 2pm and 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon, when it would reasonable to expect a professional, competent business to have someone answering calls. Clearly, they are neither. AVOID!

β β β β β Delivery date: 05 March 2022. Todays date: 25 March 2022. Package not received!!!! I am absolutely appalled by the service (not) provided. Three weeks down the track of a supposed delivered package. I would never have known if I hadn't have tracked it and after innumerous telephone contact. I am stunned by the purposeful negligent response of your team!!!! In one instance I was told that my query would be followed up. In another I was told the nominated driver delivered my package to a 'non existent' mailbox. I don't have one!!! Next I'm told to enquire with neighbours whether they received it on my behalf!! Then I requested that the nominated driver call in to my work place (on State Highway 2, Manutuke Fuel and Store, easy to find and enroute to perhaps other deliveries) so that I could ascertain exactly where the package was left. I also provided my contact number, should that be simpler. Neither occurred. Today I was blatantly told to request a replacement from the company I'd purchased this item from and the responsibility was mine!!! If it's not your responsibility then at least I expect accountability in terms of a delivery and receipt protocol. To this end, I've had enough of incompetency and so make no apology for my negative reaction. NB: If there were a negative star rating, it would be a minus 20+ and endorsed. And if the delivery driver doesn't have the fall consignment, he takes it away and brings it back whole... The girl in the office are great too. Very easy to talk to and if you have a problem, they sort it out up quickly..
