★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good park to stay at. Can be cold in winter as the rock faces block the early morning sun. Soft spots after a good deluge. Easy ride or walk to Pohara to have a feed. Recommend the Kotare for families , as they have great meals for everyone.

Bonus use of shower block under nearby boat club rooms for members.
