★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Difficult to find. Away from the shore. Up a steep hill and surrounded by trees. Heaps of mozzies. Basic. Glamping? A bed in a tent. Hosts were lovely and woodfire pizza was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a beautiful place, it is the earthly paradise. If you want to find peace, beautiful beaches, make the walk through Abel Tasman this is the right place. Tips: at night you can see Glow worms. 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing people run this place. Absolutely lovely. Great views at the house where you can enjoy a tasty evening meal. Close to the beach (mind you it's a steep hill to the site). Very comfortable bed in the tent we had, good composting toilet and sink area nearby. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my friend stayed at Awaroa Glamping while doing the 5 day great walk and we had the loveliest time! Mike and Birgit gave us a very warm welcome after a long and rainy day of hiking and even upgraded us to the cabin as it wasn't reserved! We spent the evening playing rummikub at the dinner table with an amazing view and had a very good night sleep in the comfortable cabin. The next morning they helped us cross the beach at high tide so we could continue our walk. Definite recommend!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Awaroa Glamping. Mike was attentive and kind, and the pizzas were great. It was so nice to not have to carry and set up our own tent! It was comfortable and cozy, and the views from the main building were outstanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An incredible, unique and comfortable experience on our second night of the Abel Tasman track. We were a group of 8 friends, so nearly booked the place out in a mix of 1 cabin and 3 double tents. Really cosy cabin and tents in an absolutely stunning bush location. Very private sleeping quarters. Incredible to have a hot shower after a long day hiking. Mike made delicious pizzas and that cold beer on arrival was the best of my life. We hiked in but you could also get the water taxi to Awaroa and walk up. Could not recommend the place more. Thank you so much for having us and opening up your property to us weary hikers!
