About NZPost Auckland Courier Operations Centre

Not all Kiwis have access to a local soft plastic collection bin, or they’re unable to easily drop their soft plastics off.

This trial has been set up with ease and access in mind. For NZ Post, this is not a profit-making exercise. The cost of the bag covers all the operational costs – from the production of the courier bag, to collection and transportation and the handling of the soft plastics to Future Post.

Would give 0 stars if I could. This depot has lost one of 3 passports that were sent to us, and they are refusing to look for the package. Bloody lazy. Internal affairs should choose a different courier.

I was actually looking to drop off a parcel for delivery ... but on approach to the office ... I noticed flyers stating that due to covid they had to suspend allowing non-staff from accessing their premises ... Thanks to a helpful, friendly worker, I was given instructions and directions I needed to get to the nearest post shop

Package not moving for days on end. Not surprising though. NZ Post is almost always days late (sometimes a week late on overnight delivery). I don't understand why people still use this trash service and not other reliable couriers like pack and send. I only ever receive packages from nz post.. I'd never use them to send something and I'd never use them at all if online shopping outlets let you decide on your courier. Very very bad service

I paid extra for a next day service as the company I purchased through recommended this due to the delays, my item was out for delivery the next day and it never arrived. Upon checking the tracking the next day it said delivery attempted but "the business was closed". It was a residential address and I was home all day and not even a calling card was left. I called NZ Post who said it was strange that they said it was a business address and they had to raise it to be investigated and I still have not heard anything. I would have thought they would treat it with more urgency considering it was a service I paid extra for. Why make people pay extra if you can't deliver on the set expectation. Incredibly frustrating.

Courierpost kept 7 packages containing over $15,000 worth of computer hardware at their morningside depot for 12 days despite saying their were no delivery problems in Auckland currently (& next day service could be expected). Multiple phone calls for followup have still not yielded results. This company is completely incompetent. Avoid if at all possible.

Placed a pick up from mount Wellington (Auckland) . The driver who came to pick up was extremely rude . I am still thinking why he was being so aggressive ( may be he was having bad day not sure) and he even threatened me to beat me up. He made racial comments . Whatever his reasons are to behave like that it is not at all acceptable. I have tried to call customer care waited for more than 30 mins. Frankly, hate the experience. One thing was for sure, Driver had no fear about complaint , It looked like he was regularly doing this. Shame. Happy to supply details if authorities care to investigate. Thanks

Lost my first two packages worth $300+ but didn't tell me until I called 2 weeks after the packages were "sitting" at their depot. Then told the supplier that they did NOT lose the parcels so the supplier refused to send out replacements. The investigations officer dealing with this does not reply to my emails and the contact centre just repeats the same thing over and over. Now they have after over two weeks sent out replacements WHICH THEY NOW THINK THEY HAVE ALSO LOST. Extremely frustrating not only that they lost my packages twice, but also that their comms are horrible. I just want this sorted it is adding so much unnecessary stress.

Took one week for an overnight upgraded parcel that came from East Auckland to Freemans Bay to get delivered whereas a parcel that I have sent to the USA using Pack n Send was delivered within 4 working days. I know they keep using covid as an excuse but I don't understand how a parcel can get halfway across the world quicker than within the same city. On top of that they did not scan my parcel once it got to the depot so for a whole week I had no update on my parcel until it got delivered. I had to call their 0800 number everyday and just got told to give it more time and they had no idea which depot my parcel was at. The one star is basically for the fact that I almost gave up and thought they had lost my parcel but it was still delivered despite the massive delay. Moral of the story save yourself the stress and anxiety and do not send anything urgent nor important with NZ post/ Courier post.
