★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Twice I have been to this shop to buy new glass frames. Twice I have been ignored by the 3 staff. Ok , one was behind the counter serving the first time I went and the other 2 girls continued to stand behind the counter and talk to each other, then the 2nd visit, I was in the shop 10 mins looking for frames- and still 3 girls stood behind the counter. Not one of them approached me or offered to help me. I do not recommend - Poor customer service - I did like the selection of glasses but I wont bother again, I need to find somewhere else with a good selection of frames and some descent customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first appointment was Wednesday at 9:30. I went to the store before my appointment and I was informed that the Doctor called is sick. I asked them why I did not receive a call and I was informed that they gave me a call but they can't reach me out. They are receiving phone calls at the store and it seems that they can't hear or the caller can't hear them. They find out that they are having issues with their phone lines and they will contact their phone provider. I got upset as I skip my work to make it on the appointment and I was informed by Jamie (Sales Consultant) that my number is wrong and I felt worse. I asked him to call the number and I answered his call. I allow them to reschedule my appointment and ask them on how I make a formal complaint.
I've waited today (Friday), I had my eye check and the customer service that I received from Jamie is outstanding. Before today, I will not recommend them but because I believe in second chances and that allows me to change my negative feedback to a positive one. If you're reading this review. I highly recommend you to talk to Jamie- Sales Consultant from OPSM Riccarton branch. He's very patient, nice and always happy to help! He made me a happy customer today!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service, they ask me if I could change appointments an hour early, I said yes to give way probably to somebody else… however I was 7 mins late coz of traffic, I was rushing to get there just to be told that they won’t going to do my eye test because I was late! Okay!!! Bye. What is 7mins? When you have rush eye test any way, seeing from someone else’s feedback?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The expert staff at OPSM Riccarton adjusted my glasses perfectly and quickly. The friendly shop assistants have got very good skills to look after any glasses. I think their service is great and this shop is the one I would visit next time I want new glasses. Thank you!!

She could benefit from receiving training in good customer service and improving her communication skills. Very disappointing service, based on my experience today I would not be recommending.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found I had packed only the right eye's contact lenses when up from Dunedin on holiday - they sorted me out with some extras they had, no problem at all, happy to help. Over the moon, saves me from over a hundred bucks worth of fuel to drive back to get them! You're brilliant, thank you so much! Made my day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a pair of Ray-Ban glasses from here in October last year. The staff were helpful but not intrusive, the range of frames was good, and the lens and frame deal they had on at the time meant the price was good. I particularly appreciated that the salesperson didn't try to upsell me things he thought I didn't need (e.g. thinner lenses).
Would happily shop here again.
