★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a pellet boiler we rely on for hot water and central heating. We order our pellets through OPF every few weeks and find their service excellent.
When our boiler broke down in the middle of winter we called OPF who fixed the problem quickly. Excellent, friendly and responsive service!

First of all they installed a Chinese fire that rivalled a jet engine when it was running. Next they charged me full retail for a Rika fire which is only average. They didn't even finish the install, still has scruffy bits of different pipe work at the rear. Then they ripped me off by selling me a wireless temperature sensor without giving me a credit for the wired one (which they told me was brand-new but later admitted that it was second hand junk which I had been contending all along). Very untrustworthy. Additionally the wireless network interface was second-hand; the first one they gave me connected to someone else's fire in NZ. Ended up with another second hand unit that finally worked uniquely. BUT of course that doesn't work anymore because it needs a software update that I haven't got to do. Fancy having to disconnect it and plug it into a laptop and have to run some dodgy Rika software to update it; bloody lucky I'm an engineer.
The whole thing was a total stuff around and I've just found out tonight that the chief rip-off Martin won't service my fire because he won't give me a refund or fix the things that didn't get done properly the first time.
Fancy refusing to service my fire after telling me it's dangerous to not have it serviced!
Definitely don't buy a fire from these people. 0/10 if I could!
NOT RECOMMENDED!
PS. Pellets are cheaper per kg at Bunnings in Dunedin too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service. Bought a pellet fire everything was organized and went ahead as said without a fuss. Pellets and servicing also available. Nice friendly crew here. Fire has been in place 1 year now.. never regretted our choice and such a great heat.
