★ ★ ★ ★ ★ She's showing her age and smells a little of the history contained within her aging walls but, what a cool place to stop for a coffee or meal. We tried the big breakfast and it was the best. Friendly welcoming staff it's a great foil from the big city cafes . Take a while to view the old museum pieces scattered throughout her work rooms but don't forget to enjoy the spectacular outdoors views. It's a shame there's not one if these on every road.

I stayed there in New Year’s Eve and I’m so glad I did.
Wonderful atmosphere and the hotel was so different from anything else. Old world charm and great hospitality.
Very nice room. Love to stay again. It is beautiful.

Excellent service and all round great hosts that have an astonishing array of knowledge about the area.
Soooo much character from fish to boar.
Felt right at home!

Be prepared to spend a while here...you are stepping back in time. Lots of great articles about the history of the area and loads of treasures from the past.
The food and coffee is great too.
Ig its a cold day...as it was when we visited...the log fire will be roaring to keep you warm. ?
