★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is tired. Needs an update. Not good for seniors to have a shower over the bath and no hand rails. Tea making facilities, water has to come out of hand basin in the bathroom and no tea towel supplied. Staff were very friendly.

NO phones in any rooms which is hard if you need reception

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice clean well appointed rooms. Only grizzle would be the height, or lack of height of the shower head, a bit low if you are over 5ft, really low if 6ft4 like me

Great value for money, we spent 4 nights there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spa was really grubby and uninviting last night. Cover had been left off also so it was luke warm.
Pool was lovely today, even in the rain.
Gym equipment is quite dated and not really easy to use.
Room we had is nice and cosy with everything we needed, except bowls for our own cereal.
