★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We (my wife, son and I) fished with Simon for both the morning and afternoon sessions and never caught a fish. We are avid fishing enthusiasts and fish frequently at home as well as in other countries. Simon was nice and there were great views out on the lake but we could have gone on the steamboat for much less money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It really doesn’t get any better than a sunny, warm and calm day cruising around Lake Wakatipu with Simon at the helm, other passengers, and Nikita (fishing boat). Catching a rainbow salmon was just a bonus. I highly recommend a fishing trip with Simon. He runs the locally owned family business and has unbelievable knowledge, expertise and experience of fishing in the area. This is a must do in Queenstown. The fishing gear was all set up ready to go. I will book again soon as it was excellent. You will not be disappointed with your experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i can not speak more highly of Simon and his charter operation, i took the boat for the morning it was quite still but very cool. it had rained overnight. Simon advised we may not catch anything, but the two of us on board landed 3 good sized trout and lost another 4. It was a fantastic morning and one go the highlights of my time in Queenstown, Thanks Simon for such a great experience I'm coming back again for sure. one of the best fishing charters I've done world wide, great work Simon

His unique knowledge and laid back attitude definitely made our fishing trip one of the top highlights of our trip to this wonderful country.
Highly recommended for a nice relaxing trip to really take in the beauty surrounding the lake while casting out and spending time with friends.

Fantastic day with Simon from Queenstown fishing. This guy knows his stuff and is so passionate about the area and has exceptional fishing gear and skills. We initially were confused as there is another charter called Queenstown Fishing charters but after asking the locals Simon was the most highly recommended- so rapted we did as we had a great day out - other half totally absorbing all the softbait fly fishing tips as never lake fished for trout in this way before. Keep up the great work Simon you are an asset to the area - just look for the cool Queenstown Fishing logo on his boat -then you know you’ve got the right man . Look forward to another adventure sometime in the near future- thanks heaps. Will certainly recommend you to others.

We managed to get on with a few big fish & he continued to make us feel extremely welcome. We wouldn’t have gone anywhere else & we won’t recommend anyone else.
