★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best food and coffee between Napier and Taupo, very friendly and helpful owners, quaint pub, dont go pass, definintely go in for a drink or food, best chips around and do a mean steak, peaceful surroundings, awesome service. Keep up the good work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place. Great burgers and at a very good price. Had a great stop. Couple of cold beers on the bar then a good big feed in the restaurant. Great old style country pub bloody good owners and patrons. A great place to stop have beer and burger. Pat the dogs, sit and watch the world go by. A must stop to just sit and relax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one if the nicest places I've visited in New Zealand..great steak burger ..my husband enjoyed his meal and these wonderful people helped us when our car packed up in the middle of nowhere..they drove and collected my husband at the roadside..were so understanding of his dementia..what great service to match the wonderful meals we were then served!!! Such genuinely nice people x
