★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfortable and convenient stay. I was able to have my little dog with me, which was great, and she really enjoyed the grassed area at the back of the property. The room had everything I needed and was very clean and tidy. Four star rating due to the sauna and spa not being available when I was there mid-week, which was disappointing. I would stay again though, as it was a good base for the Tongariro National Park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Studio unit was tidy, but bitey flying things were an issue. Room didn't have blackout curtains so with carpark lighting - the room was very bright at night. Made it very hard to sleep. Suggest to owners that they buy some decent curtains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well equipped, standard motel rooms opening onto a walkway a metre above the car park, via a glass sliding door.
The restaurant décor is Cobb & Co-esque, from the 1980s, but seems appropriate for Turangi and the fly-fishing vibe of the area. The food (venison pie and chicken burger) was good, though the staff seemed stressed by the number of guests on a Friday night.

Restaurant food was appalling Blue Cod overcooked egg disgusting re-ordered to compliment dish.
Dining facilities great requires updating & brightening with splash of colour .

What a luck of the draw! A complete highlight of the trip!
Awesome place, nice rooms, scenic next to the river, and a bar and restaurant on sight, which even allows the option of taking drinks back to your room.
An absolute pleasure. And not only a nice spot, but priced significantly better than its busy brother Taupo.
I would absolutely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just came for dinner and I must say they need to up there game big time!!! A family coming for dinner doesn’t want to eat one at a time, one person eating and the others waiting for there dinner. You should all eat together. Service need polishing big time, I have worked in the hotel business for my hole life. I found this restaurant very poor. Up your game people!!! It’s amazing place to stay but your restaurant lets you down.
