Was met by incredibly rude and unhelpful staff at the front desk. I will not be returning ever again.

I have attended this practice for over 9 years, I now how 3 children who are also patients here. We have always received the best care by Dr Wiles, Dr Hurley and the great team of nurses. The reception staff are efficient and helpful. I really appreciate being able to get myself and my children an appointment on the same day, sometimes delaying the Dr's home time! They sure go the extra mile here!!

The doctors here are great but the older receptionist with the long black hair is really nasty. Enough for us to not return. Upon arrival she looked at us up and down with an ugly look on her face. A doctors practice should be a caring and welcoming place. Very disappointed to see this type of service in Remuera. The world is not against you. There’s really no need to be so unhappy toward strangers ??‍♀️ after reading other reviews and seeing your responses, please, before you say this was a fraudulent review and that you will report me to Google, the appointment wasn’t for me or under my name. I think the behavior of your receptionist needs to be addressed or in the very least, and I sincerely mean this, ask her if she’s ok?

I've been with Remuera Doctors for over 6 years. Always had an excellent service there. I cannot speak high enough of my GP Patrina Hurley - friendly, non-judgmental, with personal approach and always straight to the point! I've been there with a number of issues and always feel very comfortable to discuss them and confident that I'll get the best advice. I particularly appreciate my GP doing extra mile by explaining how the medical system works, what to expect and how to approach it the best way in case of further referrals, insurance claims, etc. Thank you!

I had the results less than 24 hours after I got tested an immigration medical here yesterday, and the front desk nurses and doctors are very friendly. It is highly recommended that people who need immigration medical test come here.

I chose Remuera Doctors for our medical exam for immigration purposes because it is the closest one to my workplace. I made an appointment on the phone and the man I spoke to (I forgot the name) was so nice that I booked in with them. The first visit was last week with my husband. We noticed their receptionists were not as friendly as they should be but we let it go because the two doctors there were amazing. I had to go back yesterday for my blood pressure and urine test and my daughter's medical as well. Despite of the bad weather, we woke up early and went there to ensure we won't miss our appointment at 8:30am and will have time to relax before the doctor gets my blood pressure. We arrived before 8am and stayed outside the clinic. At 8:02am my daughter and I went in. The younger receptionist asked if we have an appointment and I said yes. Then the older one told us we are early and should be waiting outside not in their waiting room inside. I thought the business hours starts at 8am. I never thought that we are not allowed to enter the clinic before the appointment time. What's the purpose of the waiting room? We wore masks when we get in and I was suppose to relax before I see the doctor. I was feeling angry with the way the two receptionists treated us but I was just holding my temper and emotions because of my blood pressure! Even my ten year old daughter told me they were rude to tell us to go back outside when no one else were there in the waiting area inside. So we had to endure the cold outside until 8:30am. During the whole time we stayed outside, we only saw one man who went inside and came out. It was not crowded also the reason why I booked the earliest appointment. Receptionists are the first point of contact, the face of the company. First impressions last. We would never go back to a place like this. Even if the doctors are amazing especially Doctor Rachel, I won't step a foot in that place again because of their receptionists who don't even know how to smile. My daughter even asked me if we were treated that way because we are not their usual clients or because of our nationality. This one star rating is for the receptionists. The way they treated us. I hope they will change and be better people. If they don't like their jobs, they can give it up and for sure someone else will be happy to take the role. This is a lesson learned. The next time I choose a clinic, I must read the google reviews.

Not sure why they offer medical for immigration. Asking us to bring case number when immigration NZ don't give a case number until we apply and to apply we need to provide medicals. Plus they suggested to go somewhere else. So ended up going to city doctors :). No dramas there like these guys.

I booked an appointment for 19th Jan for X-ray and I live in Hamilton so this place is the only one that could book me before Feb so I chose them. On the day of my appointment, while I was already half way to Auckland I received a call from them saying that the doctor was sick so they have to cancel my appointment. They then wanted to book me for an appointment for Friday the same week after I clearly told them I am living in Hamilton. I have no choice but to keep the Friday's one. 20mins later I called them back wanted to change the Friday appointment to Thursday just to save me from traveling back to Hamilton on Wednesday, go to work on Thursday and go back to Auckland for appointment on Friday. When I asked if there's any possibility to book a X ray for Thursday, guess what? They said yes they can book my appointment for Thursday? I just don't get it why the first time when they asked to change my appointment they did not offer me Thursday? Especially I have told them I live in Hamilton, they still booked me for Friday before even checking if it is ok with me. Also, cancelling appointment itself is frustrating enough? If you want a guaranteed appointment, please go somewhere else because you never know what would happen to your appointment and the fact that they only got one doctor to do X-ray is not helping at all.
