★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying this, had the Medium Roast Lamb which was massive, really awesome portions, cooked to perfection, with all the tasty roast sides. Wife had the ribs, and being from Austin, Texas, she was impressed. Great food, great value!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service is excellent - the owner is really friendly, and when I didn't want the peas & carrots he gave me extra potatoes. The food is also ready instantly, and decent portion sizes. The gravy and crackling aren't that good though, and the meat should have more flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a half chicken, roast potatoes and crackling this afternoon at 2:45 to take away.
The chicken was so dried out even the cat wouldn't eat it
Potatoes were dry and didn't get eaten. Crackle wasn't up too much and also got left.
Very dissapointing as this cost $32.00.
Looks like they cook in the morning and still sell what's dried out in the afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good on the odd day when your lucky to get it fresh . But highly disappointed getting cold reheated meat so dry you couldn’t eat it and partly cold and if you don’t speak up they will give you old bits cut up in the tray . the potato’s too are always raw in the middle they should be boiled first then roasted so this doesn’t happen . Nice customer service however

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by for lunch after going to Snowplanet. We took away our meal to eat at the beach.
We were there on a Friday and they, fortunately, had brisket available. Unfortunately, the ribs were only available after 1600. We grabbed a large portion of the brisket and the roast pork. The staff were really helpful and friendly, suggesting what we should order for our group.
The brisket was delicious, nice flavour and quite juicy. The pork was a little dry but the crackling was amazing and we got quite a large tub of gravy with the meals. It came with the standard sides; peas, carrot, kumara, potato and pumpkin. The potato was amazing with a nice crunchy outer layer and creamy interior.
It was a nice place for a quick meal but it was a bit disappointing that the ribs weren't available for lunch.
