★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got lucky with weather but whole trip was well organised and personal. We prob would have gone a bit further but that's what happens with group activities. Thanks Austin

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a beautiful day, calm and gorgeous. Ollie was a fabulous guide. 2021 is the best time to do this experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went during a very cold time which was unfortunate but the trip was still wonderful. The option for a $35 round trip bus to Milford was Great since the road was closed due to snow for several days. There are also planned places to pull over and walk around for photos along the way. Ollie the driver/guide was friendly and helpful. When we got to Milford, roscos had fleeces and everything needed for the cold weather. The tour guides were all great and informative. Overall I think kayaking in the fiord was better than any boat ride we could have done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing trip! We went on the Safari which essentially meant being picked up from Te Anau and kayaking the Sunriser classic. We have sea kayaked a few times before which definitely helped but two guys in our group had never kayaked and they had a great time too. The benefit of taking the shuttle was not having to drive super early in the morning and we were also able to stop and take photos of the landscape on the drive back. Totally recommend Roscos, very professional as well as entertaining throughout. They are also a local business, we felt as if on an adventure - not just another number on a tour!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible experience! The beautiful views were guaranteed, but it was the amazing service, conversations, knowledge and freedom to explore and kayak at our own pace offered by Rosco’s guides (Daymon was amazing!) that made the near 4 hour adventure so memorable. Could not recommend this small business more! A must do in Milford

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the best activity we did on our trip around the South Island by far. We saw dolphins and penguins up close and the guide (Damon) was great. My partner and I happened to be the only people that booked for a tour with them on the day we went which meant we got to ask all the questions and spend as much time as we wanted at the different stops. This tour is definitely a treat, is more eco-friendly than a cruise and you get to see spots where the cruises don't go (plus you disturb the wildlife a lot less and can listen to the birdsong much more). Thanks again for showing us around Piopiotahi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time on our kayak tour - took the package with the van from Te Anau and really appreciated the stops along the way while not having to worry about the driving. Our guide Ollie did a lovely job the whole time. They provided gear which kept us warm even when it was cloudy and a little drizzly (just remember to bring your own footwear). Don't let a drizzle stop you! The clouds made the Sound just that much more mysterious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience and a great way to see Milford Sound whether the sun is shining or if it’s pouring. The guide was really helpful and told us lots of cool things about the geography as we kayaked round.
I was also impressed they provided thermals and gloves if you wanted them.
