★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW!! Just wow! Me and my partner Katrina can honestly say that it was by far the best experience away we have ever had. The view, hospitality, and food was perfect,. We were so stunned to find our lovely host Robyn had even gone out of her way to sneak a box of chocolates into our room after finding out it's our anniversary, and was more than happy to help with some ideas to keep us entertained for the weekend. We will defs be back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 2 weeks (January 2016) in both south and north islands staying in 8 different places and this was the best. Host was great and breakfast was delicious. View of Lake Taupo from our room and the back deck was amazing. Very modern and clean Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Robin was the most caring and delightful host. She was knowledgeable and helpful in so many ways. Additionally, all her rooms are well appointed and beautiful. The breakfasts were sumptuous. We had a delightful two night stay with a lot to keep us busy in the area. Stunning views abound of Lake Taupo from this beautiful home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came for our 10th wedding anniversary and I didn't want to leave. The hostess was amazing, the breakfast was delicious and the proper is stunning, but the view will totally take your breath away. For a relaxing and peaceful get away I highly recommend Serenity on Wakeman.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning location and view. Very comfortable room with excellent facilities, comfortable bed and bedding. Small bathroom but adequate. Everything was clean and well presented. Amazing breakfast. Best we've had at any place! Hospitable host. We teally enjoyed our taupo stay.
