★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food (excellent ribeye, burgers and belly pork from our experience), really good beer (particularly well kept Cassels milk stout on nitro), really friendly, helpful staff, great inside bar with loads of space and comfy, good outside beer garden and dog friendly outside too. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great pub. The audience was awesome, the locals friendly and open. The owner and his wife were great. What else can one ask for?
Food is good, service is awesome and fast. A special mention goes out to the craft beers on tap. Try them all if you need help deciding bb
Don't forget to have a look in the beer garden. Right ball, football and plenty of other games. And there are chickens in the back and Free roaming children.
Stop and have a look You will not be disappointed.
We highly recommend stopping here. Obviously we will come back for more this week.... And future visits to the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here after a days adventuring up Mt Cook Aoraki National Park. What a great pub! They had a live band for a Saturday night that was excellent. Food was good value for money. Fried chicken was a hit. Place is warm and cozy with a fire going. Nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
