Paid extra to have a newer vehicle so that it had a usb plug as we needed it to charge our phones because we knew we were doing a lot of driving and needing to run google maps but the plug was completely broken. This meant we also couldn’t play any music which isn’t a big issue but we all know road trips are better with good music. We complained to snap but never got a response which was disappointing.

Big Thanks to Ignacio at Auckland Airport location. He worked with me to get a daily rate within my budget for a long-term rental. He was kind, patient, professional all while juggling other customers. He explained all policies clearly and made detailed notes within the system (I also damaged my car and had to submit a claim. Oops). Ignacio is a great asset to Snap rentals.

Good booking process and pickup/drop off, I was happy with the car that was provided, was charged a 'fuel refill fee' of $25 3+ weeks after the rental occured. Not happy with that as already expressed to the average customer service. Unfortunately won't use again because of this.

The whole process from booking to vehicle pickup was super-easy and less traumatic than the delayed flights and airport hassles. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone needing a stress free car rental experience and to top it off, they are heaps cheaper than the big rental car companies inside the terminal. I even booked a 'mystery snap' and couldn't have been happier with the vehicle I was given

A quick pick up from airport in an electric van was impressive. Our rental car was ready at the door of the depot upon arrival. After showing my driver's licence I got the keys and was invited to take pics of the car's condition. No paper work to carry or complete (other than a quick form with my contact details as hire was through a 3rd party). Staff were efficient. Car was modern and very tidy. Return of car 4 days later went equally as smoothly. Thanks.

Went in and the staff seemed pretty nice from the start but had to pay an extra $100 for my rental of a few days. Was told it was because I didn't have my credit card with me and the guy was pretty as adamant kept repeating how it was in the email etc. Hey well I checked and no it wasn't, probably just in the 4 pages of small print and I just suggested he have it more prominent and he said "well it's written when u book and in the emails". Yea sure bud lemme just read that email again ? Got the mystery car because I thought it said it would be a newish car - but hey at least this one was on me. Car is old (well 2010), smells weird and has bad alignment and is scratched up. Whatever it works, I wouldn't even have cared if I wasn't charged another $100. Eurgh. Not budget, staff friendly but kinda clueless I guess.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. I rented a car from this company that came with a WORN Wiper blade ( 3 BROKEN AREAS , PLZ CHECK THE ATTACHED PHOTOS AND WINDSHIELD.). It was extremely dangerous at the rain season in Auckland. I couldn't drive the car at all so I went to a mechanic shop to replace it. Before I went to the mechanic shop, I reported to Snap that I'd like to get the refund for the cost of replacing the wiper blade. It was a reasonable request , but the answer I got was " NO, The only solution we can offer is that you drive it back and we can either replace the wiper blade or swap a car for you." I said " 1st, I cant even dive it cuz of the heavy rain. 2nd, Who is gonna take the responsibility for the potential accident on the way back to your company ? 3rd, I paid for your service, you are supposed to provide a safe car to me ( The WOF expires on 24/06, but it was still rented to customers on 03/06 ). Who is gonna pay for my 2-3 hours from North Shore to Airport ?" SNAP " Bla bla bla bla the only solution ........ " Me " Plz put whoever is in charge on the phone, or plz tell me your name cuz you are talking to me on behalf of your company so I have the rights to know who Im talking to ." SNAP " We dont have a manager today, you can only talk to me and I wont tell you my name cuz I feel Im being threatened " .............................. On the return day ( 06/06/2022) , I still friendly explained to the receptionist. The receptionist confidently promised the manager would contact me on the very next working day. Today is already 09/06/2022, nobody contacted me at all. BTW, the brake was making grinding noises every single time I depressed it. What a horrible car. And , the car was 2014 and full of dents and scratches all around. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU NEVER RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just completed a 4 day hire with snap rentals. Excellent service.. the staff were very friendly, pick up and return of the car was seemless, quick and effortless. Car was great and good prices too. Can't fault this company at all, highly recommend.
