★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish i had done this sooner. So easy. Both surgeons so normal & actually care. The nurse was very kind and gave me lots of useful info about stockings (the only downer). The lady in the office amazingly helpful regarding navigating my paperwork. Yes defo recommend these guys

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my experiences with specialists/ surgeons, Dr Lupe Taumeopeau & Mr. JK Wicks are the most real and down to earth. While extremely professional, I believe they are being true to themselves.
Both are approachable, relatable, natural and friendly. Dr Lupe has a serene empathy about her.
SVH in Wellington is very efficient as everything is under one roof. I went there for a consultation, had ultra sound scanning an hour later and was booked in for surgery all in the same place. Parking was provided. (In Wellington Central – I know right!!)
I was well informed and felt confident I was in the right place with the right people. The 2 nurses also made a great support team. They had an upbeat repore with everyone. Reception were welcoming.
I strongly recommend Specialist Vein Health.

(Also: he and his colleagues were thorough and kind, in helping me psychologically rebound from this episode –– so I recommend SVH comprehensively.)
