โ โ โ โ โ Professional service for eye test, good information and explanations. Staff were friendly and helpful when choosing frames etc but there is a definite need for quieter, more private areas for discussions over options and prices. At the moment all of this is done amongst people looking at frames etc and the customer and staff are distracted and sometimes it is hard to concentrate and to hear properly. Need a bigger store !!!

โ โ โ โ โ The frame on my glasses broke and I had to go to Specsavers Paraparaumu instead of my usual Queensgate store. I went in with my broken glasses and they proceeded to call me a liar that my glasses were less than 2 years old and still covered by warranty and wanted me to order a new frame at $150, then i found my glasses at home and went back the next day, after calling first to make sure they could swap over the frame from my old pair to the new pair. Once i got there after driving for an hour from lower hutt they told me they couldnt swap them because they didnt have any screws to fix them. Thatd be like a tire shop not having valves! So i went over to OPSM and they fixed them in 5 minutes for free. Not inclined to go here in the future, disorganised, no processes for broken glasses and not trained staff does not come across well as good customer service.

โ โ โ โ โ Eye test went good, but when it comes to getting some glasses your staff pointed me to the budget range, then took off and served another client that was looking for glasses. Upon asking your staff member if you sold any Italian glasses ( I had to go up and ask at the counter) they told me no. However I saw that you sold the Moschino brand which is an Italian designer!!! Terrible customer service, so you missed out on me purchasing from you. Optometrists are good, just customer service is bad, the worst Iโve experienced in any optometrist.

Walk in wanting to buy new glasses.
Asked to have glasses adjusted, the girl cracked the arm by over heating them to the point they burnt me and bending them in the wrong way.
Then said im going to break them if I go any further and its your problem if you do.
Before she could even quote the glasses I had selected I left empty handed.

โ โ โ โ โ I ordered some glasses. The script was wrong. They offered to fix but I would have to pay extra. They accepted no responsibility, advising me I had not given the right information.That was not correct They then agreed to fix my glasses, I took them back and they then said they were no longer going to and gave me a refund. I put in a feedback. Caleb the owner called me and said that it would cost them too much money to fix so they would not do it. I am happy I got my money back but any goodwill I had for the store is gone. Abysmal and arrogant customer service.

โ โ โ โ โ Exceptional service. I had tried an opposition store in 2 different locations and been given the short shift in both stores to the point I had given up on the idea of getting my old and beloved glasses a new life. As I was going to Spec Savers for the first time I took the old glasses (with the sellotaped repair job from the other outfit) and lo and behold a very nice young man renewed the ends on the old pair and they are like brand new again.
They treated me so well I really want to go back and buy a new pair from them even though these old ones are perfect again.
Thoroughly recommend these people and will use them again for sure. Thank you.

โ โ โ โ โ Such lovely friendly staff. Bright nicely laid out store. Speedy visit for my son who needed an emergency pair of contact lenses. They were so kind to give him a sample pack. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

โ โ โ โ โ Appalling customer service. Arrived on time for my scheduled eye exam. Had the glaucoma check and then waited for over 30 minutes for the optician to actually have an exam - simply unacceptable especially as nobody from about 4 staff member who passed me by asked if everything was OK. Would give Zero stars if the system let me. AVOID THIS STORE
