I understand that with having been in lockdown that this was a very busy time, yet I was contacted very quickly after the store resumed trading to make another appointment time... A huge thumbs up to the team at OPSM Porirua. ?

Posting this review on my partner’ behalf as the OPSM keep deleting this
Very regretful to share my experience on Boxing Day, when I went to purchase a sunglass from this branch for my partner. Initially the staff told that you can only try the glass if you are buying them. I noticed that she got a different attitude to her own race. When we bought one she mentioned that she needs my full ID details to give the 20% discount displayed on the shelves. I refused to share it due to her attitude and she denied the discount.
I have been in NZ for 7 years and this is the first time I am experiencing racism from a shop. I agree that not everyone is the same, but a sales person would need to know how to handle customers. Hope the front office staffs gets enough training to alleviate these issues in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took the in-store insurance out when I purchased my pair of prescription reading glasses. On Christmas Eve they were trodden on by accident (frames broken but lens fine) so I popped into the store after the holidays and they were reframed on the spot. Great service and hassle free in regards to having purchased the insurance which from memory was around $70. The frames were around $390.
I always enjoy great service here and my kids love seeing Dr Trish @ the “eye doctors” too.
