★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breeding season is finished so you get to see an empty kiwi hatchery but they're still selling you a full priced ticket. Poor value for money. I don't recommend going here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got this added onto my tour of rainbow springs. It was amazing and i loved seeing the little baby kiwi being fed and some in their eggs still ready to hatch out. Fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Center inside Rainbow Springs dedicated to our funky flightless national icon. There's loads of information about the bird & interactive displays to keep the kids occupied. Eventually you can make your way into the nocturnal house where you can hopefully see kiwi poking about in the gloom. We were lucky and got to see all three birds that were there as they were relatively active. No lights or flash photography allowed inside for obvious reasons.
