About The Uniform Shoppe Manukau
The Uniform Shoppe is one of the country’s oldest school uniform suppliers, with over 50 years of experience and knowledge in supplying bespoke solutions to more than 150 New Zealand schools.
We operate nine retail stores in the upper North Island and a flagship store at a premium location in Manukau. We also liaise closely with schools who operate their own on-premise uniform shops.
Our ethical manufacturing operations, in Thailand and Sri Lanka, are company-owned, allowing us to have complete control over manufacturing timelines and ensure cost-effectiveness for the benefit of customers.
As a vertically-integrated designer, manufacturer, distributor, we can move mountains to guarantee the quality of our apparel at every stage of the supply chain. There is no other company in our part of the world that can produce a custom-made garment at an off-the-shelf price within a four-week turnaround – any time, every time.
The Uniform Shoppe joined forces with SAS Sport in 2016 and employs almost 200 staff – close to 150 team members offshore, with the balance in New Zealand. We also have a dedicated team of graphic designers and fashion designers to help customise bespoke solutions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I ring up right 2:52pm they close at 3:00pm tell them could they please wait for me i only needed to exchange my daughters school top to a smaller size I was like 5mins away I got there at 3:02pm she seen me looked right at me and frowned I know would have been a hassle but it wouldn’t have taken much time exchange which is a huge shame because the young girl who had served me originally 3 weeks ago was amazing she was a star I would give her 10 stars if I could but today disappointed me & when my 13 year old says mum it wouldn’t have taken them much to just let us exchange the top that’s got to tell something.

Normally they don't accept returns only exchanges but the manager was so kind and nice and she said its ok.

Walked in and there were three ladies at the counter two working on something and the other looked at me walked in and didn’t even greet me. Didn’t ask if I was ok or if I had everything I needed. Then I went to the counter, paid and the lady just put the receipt on the shorts and was like “here you by go”, it was very cold. Not a do you want a bag if that was an option or a goodbye. Don’t come here for customer service you won’t get it!! disappointed, it was my first time here as well and a little help would’ve been nice!
