A	Andrew Robarts on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location Probably the most welcoming service in the world. Clean, tidy and comfortable. This a budget motel, aging and needs a revamp to bring it up to date, but I would rather they left it as it is. Quaint.

Not very much parking avaliable electric blanket wasnt working on 1 bed walls wernt very tidy looking amd there was no fan or ventilation

Nice touches with free tea, coffee and biscuits. The free Wi-Fi is brilliant. Catherine is a great hostess and can recommend great places to visit. One of the cleanest Motels we have visited in NZ.
N	Nicky C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here with my furbaby. I love the fact that you can have your dog in the unit with you ?. Loved the cleverly folded towels in the shape of puppies ?. Pity about the other guests that kept opening our door by mistake... So had to lock the door in the end. The cleaners need to check the freezer compartment as there was a frozen pie left in there, also needed defrosting. And found a paper bag under the bed.?
B	Bruno Metz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had asked for one or two nights by e-mail. The owner confirmed me without detail, charged me one night at arrival. But when I asked the next morning to be sure we could stay a second night she said that she is sorry, she forgot to inform us but the room was booked for other guests. So we were left without accommodation with our 4 y.o. daughter and couldn't find any other place to sleep. Would have expect an other behaviour!

When I emailed to book I did not hear back about confirmation of booking nor how to pay. When I rang a few days after I emailed, I was met with a very rude response. On arrival, I waited for half an hour in reception ringing the bell, no one came. This gave me time to observe the reception and it was absolutely filthy. The floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in over a year, junk was piled up behind reception, windows needed a clean, just filthy. While waiting the owner came over and rudely said, " what do you want?" I informed her that I had a room booking, to which she responded, "yeah your key is in the door". At this point I had no idea which room I was in, nor that it was open and the key was in the door. Not very safety conscious for accommodation that is on a main road! Oh yeah, no checking of ID etc either. The room was ok, but filthy. The rug had grass all through it, cobwebs and spiders, dirty walls and windows. I had booked 2 nights but only stayed one night. Overall, customer service was terrible, and the place could do with a really good clean.
S	Samantha Alexander on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing motel. The staff were so so nice and welcoming. Made sure we had everything we needed and more whilst there. Recommended the best cafes and take away in the area. The bed was really comfy had a great night's sleep. Showers were hot and water pressure the best we've had. Can't say enough positive things.
