★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had lunch there today. We asked if there were umbrellas to sit outside as the day was beautiful but hot and the view was amazing. They didn’t have any. I had the autumn salad which was extremely average, not much flavour and very basic. I had asked if we could add salmon to it(there was a salmon salad on the menu so I knew they had salmon) but the waitress said they couldn’t deviate from the menu. Hubby had the beef burger which he thought was excellent. We had margaritas which were small but great. There was some sort of building inspection going on with what seemed like the owners which we thought was annoying and very unprofessional and could’ve been scheduled outside lunchtime. The decor seemed quite high end with velvet and brass but the service and food certainly wasn’t. I wouldn’t go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for lunch for the beautiful lake view. Food was so good we booked for dinner later on the same day. What a wonderful experience. By far the best restaurant in Tekapo. Looking forward to going again on our next Tekapo trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful food and great staff!! We had a lovely dinner out with three young kids and although there was no kids food options they were very accommodating even heating up some baby food. The only downside was how long our meals took, we waited over 30mins for our main and about the same for our dessert even though it wasn’t busy. Would definitely visit again but maybe without the kids!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and wine selections. The food was good but not great. A little pricey for our perceived quality. The salmon was the least tasty, and the tomato sauce wasn’t a good fit. The desserts were underwhelming but not bad. We would probably not eat here again compared to a couple other options in town, but we wouldn’t recommend against it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very yummy food.Loved the seafood platter we ordered. Highly recommended ??. Staff was friendly and attentive. Although its the Easter weekend, the wait for the food was a bit too long. And it's always tricky to wait for a long time with young kids ? Overall we will still return, and hope the waiting time can be improved. Beautiful view just outside the restaurant too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for dinner Anzac weekend.we didn't book a table,we thought we would try our luck.we were received warmly and a table was organized. We had the mussels and the shrimp for starters.followed by the duck and salmon for the main.the food was done to a very high quality and we couldn't fault it.amazing flavors and was a quick turn around from the kitchen to the table.
The staff made the experience very enjoyable and made us feel very welcome.to top it all off we were given a dessert to share which was a very kind gesture. Would recommend highly. Just a new restaurant but seems to have everything working well and friendly staff..well done guys 10/10..
