★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has always been a family tradition to stop here on the long car journeys up and down the North island. It is so refreshing to take half an hour to relax in some natural hot water. The private rooms are such a great value it's always worth the stop.
There is also a great little bush walk outside of the hot pools too. Definitely worth checking out also if you have the time and need to stretch your legs.

Stopped on our way home from completing the Tongariro Crossing and enjoyed ALL the healing powers of the thermal pool!
Private pool is well worth the price, $12pp for 20 minutes, and includes entry to the public pool for as long as you want after.
Changing rooms and cold shower next to public pool, no private showers. Reception looked like they sell a few snacks and had a coffee machine.
Plenty of parking on site.

Well maintained area proper signage and very well maintained and attractive view of natural phenomenon.
Chilly out but these waters clearly says God is amazing that has given us so much of his work.
Highly recommended to go around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to relax and warm up your body after 8 hrs do Tongariro alpine crossing..
Me and husband book the private pool, and it was amazing.
The pool is a bit old but doesn't mean that the quality is not good.
For the private pool, we spend 20 minutes and that's enough to make your shore body gone.. :-) and feels fresh again.
Also there is a track around the pool area which is will amaze your eyes..
Definitely recommend!!

Well we made good money and momentum
We are on holiday so had to have place away from the road and with Internet reception.
Sorry we didn't tour the place.
But was profitable for us

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These hot pools are fantastic value. We go for the private pool as the water isn’t treated, but there is a public pool ideal for kids.
The walk around the geothermal activity is free and has a huge variety of pool types.
We come every time we travel to or from Taupo. It’s unspoilt by commercialisation, just like New Zealand used to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for a dip in the hot pool . Price very reasonable, senior citizens $10 private pool. But i only gave it a 3 Star because not very clean , the entrance and the hallway and spar rooms were very boring. Nothing jumped out at me and said come on in .
