After having terrible customer service from a near by vehicle service provider, Jamie from VINZ Lower Hutt helped to assist me, even though I had not gone to VINZ/him originally. Jamie responded to my emails straight away, answering and guiding me with my enquiries. Jamie helped reduce what could have been a more stressful situation. I highly recommend this company/outlet and will certainly be using them in the future for my vehicle services. Thank you for all your support!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service I've ever incurred from the receptionist for a long time. Told to not ask any questions because she was sooo busy with no other cutomer in sight. After half an hour of waiting I was able to ask when was the latest I could pick up the car. It took four questions from me just to find out that the latest pick up time was 3:30pm. Then only to be told by the inspector that the forms could have been completed and the car ready for pick up earlier if I had left a copy of my drivers licence. A FACT that miss helpful could not have told me. Only go there if it is a last resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to VINZ for a WOF inspection. I was visibly pregnant and had my 3 year old with me. I used to like going to VINZ in Alicetown for a WOF because it was close to Laugh a Lots, so I could have something fun to do with my 3 year old while the inspection took place. Last time they told me it would take 30 - 45 min. I made the mistake to tell them we were going to Laugh a Lots and we would be back in 1-1.5 hours. When I got back about 1.5 hours later, they told me, sorry it wasn't finished, so we ended up waiting for 2 hours (altogether) before the inspection was done ?.
I was disappointed and felt disrespected because of the long wait time for the WOF to be done. They told me they had an emergency. I wish they had rescheduled me. It's always such an effort to think ahead, to plan when I have a small child with me in such a situation. I wish they had the wisdom and kindness to treat me with a bit more respect. Anyway, never again. Fortunately, there are plenty of other places who do WOF inspections in Lower Hutt.
