★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (FYI, I went during normal ‘working hours’) Never had to wait longer than 20 mins for a WOF- for that reason alone I’ll absolutely recommend & always go back, so quick and easy. Also the staff were nice and friendly too which is always a plus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was getting a wof for my trailer, so went inside to pay for the wof. I had to wait 30min in the queue as others were getting their drivers licence which is okay.
What not okay is, while I am waiting in the queue, a staff has directed cars behind my vehicle to go in front of me and as I wanted to pay for the wof the lady told me to go away because I wasn’t first in the lane?! I was the third car! 5min later I had to go inside again and had to wait another 20min in the queue.
I was about to leave after she told me to go away, standing in the queue for 30min. I didn’t because I only had 2 cars in front of me but telling me I can’t pay for not being first?! That’s ridiculous if you ask me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good service. There wasn't a queue at 11am on a Tuesday morning. Place is a bit confusing as to where to go, it doesn't flow very well but the staff were very polite and efficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you get the blonde women don’t bother taking the test, she fails you before you even start the car, she needs to find a new job. Wasted money and will have to take the test in whakatane. All of my friends also failed from her it’s not just me , for gods sake get rid of her

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a WOF. Terrible customer service - three people at the front counter completely ignored me to continue their conversation - it wasn't that I hadn't been noticed, all three met my eye and then looked away to continue their conversation. After a few minutes I asked "OK, so which one of you wants to help me out?". It felt like drawing blood from a stone, just getting them to take my money. Finally one of them asked my number plate, then went back to ignoring me and continuing their conversation - briefly pausing to point at the eftpos machine.
Technicians panicked and scrambled when I asked to explain the repairs needed so I can get fixed what actually needs to be fixed; spent more time making excuses (these are just the rules, it sounds silly I know, blah blah blah) than actually explaining what I needed to fix (which is literally all I was asking). Pretty unimpressed considering you charge on the higher end of the price spectrum for a WOF.
Did finally manage to talk to someone who could explain the repairs needed, but the whole experience has left me with a foul taste and I will be recommending people not use this station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick and friendly service at the counter. Though it appears each week the inspector picks something on a vehicle to fail warrants on. No problem for me to get it fixed but when I went to visit my mechanic he told me hes had 3 cars this week fail for the same thing and when he checked the thing it failed on there was nothing wrong with it!

However we had an AWESOME experience with Heather.. lovely lady..great manner put my daughter and I both at ease..and when finished thanked her for being attentive and driving well..
