★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the receptionists were nice but the technicians are so rude, i have waited 2 hours to get my wof I have had to go there twice paid double the fees and 2 repairs needed the technician didn't even explain what i needed to get repaired just gave me a piece of paper and told me to get my car out of the way. never going to vtnz again would rather support a smaller business who will appreciate a paying customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helpful staff who are managing the "covid rules of engagement" in good spirits considering it must mean a little more running around. Wait time was almost an hour for wof and registration, thank goodness it's only once a year!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited in queue 4 hours to get COF for campervan and then , even though we were next in queue, they let a truck drive in, book ($115 booking fee), and go ahead of us ...we left. Not a fair system at all...why does it cost so much to book!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bit miffed really at this place,it seems to slow down everytime i come.
Today 05/05/22 2 hour wait before they were able to start my car,it seemed that only one tech was working the vehicle lane and with only 3 cars in front of us,so first being 12pm must have be breaktime because the first 30 minutes were spent with no one in the lane and no work being done.
Im all for worker getting breaks but arent they supposed be staggered to keep the flow of work going ? After that the average inspection was taking 30 mins with just 1 technician.
No complaints for the very friendly people at the desk,my main frustration comes from the single inspector.
When he finished the check barely acknowledged me simple handed the sheet said “lower ball joints” and proceed to walk away like he was suddenly concerned that he had 13 other vehicles out to the road waiting that he couldn’t talk to me about the check at all.
So i left Vtnz porirua feeling annoyed at that service having waited patiently for 2.5hours to have a check to not have what his issues with the vehicle was and about why he had chosen to fail it. Simply what part he had chosen to fail on today.
No idea if the “play” was outside of the manufacturers allowable movement which is what the rule as per Vrim is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The venue is great. The only knock was that my friend and I went for her driver's appointment and we were a few minutes ahead of the confirmed time. The instructor was not in a good mood. Picked on my friend regarding the time, which we were early so I could not understand that comment. The attitude when asking questions was unfriendly. This made her rather nervous and in my mind, she was doomed to fail from the start. She did fail and will repeat the test but at a different venue. Sad that for a short while the instructor could not put on a happy 'face'.
