★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got charged an extra $35 because I turned up before 2pm. Should have been told this Rule when I Booked Online. Room clean and Shower,Toilet area excellent. Back gate not able to be used so U turning a hassle. Many potholes since last visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cockroaches in the room, stains on the mattress, big pot holes in the back car park, no bathroom fan or proper ventilation, loud neighbours knocking on our door at 6.30 am, lousy service from staff who did absolutely nothing to try help fix the cockroach issue in our room, there were 3 of us in the one room, and they only had one key, we asked for another key, and they said no spare key, and we had to make do. Absolutely filthy, and you’re better off paying extra to stay somewhere clean because this place lacks anything remotely close to a pass. Please implement solutions for these issues and not just respond to bad reviews with that generic corporate response. You’d think with covid they would be on their game with keeping this place clean! This hotel needs Mary Poppins and a miracle. The only positive is the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient to airport, there is a reasonably priced no frills restaurant. There is a shuttle bus running regularly to the airport. If you prefer not to have breakfast in the restaurant there is a bakery 5 minutes away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed the room where we were allocated first, some lights were taken away or didn't work, heat pump didn't work and remote control for TV didn't work either.
The hotel offered us another room but we had to move all luggages by ourselves.
The new room also had minor problem like tv remote control didn't work, no proper fan at bathroom though it's far better than the we were allocated at the first time, only we didn't wish to see cockroach in the room.
Receptionist is okay but I feel she needs more professional training for customer service.
Tiny play space for small kids was good.
Unfortunately I wouldn't want to come back here to stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st room we were allocated the toilet seat was half attached and sink pipe not attached so water went all over the floor. Went to reception to report issue was told well what do you want me to do house keeping has already been. Asked for a new room which was better but very unclean and full of black mould. Found the guy on reception very rude and not helpful or welcoming. Don't reccomend staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Supposed to stay for 1 weekend & ended up staying for 2 weeks. The Chef was awesome & his lovely helper. Only 1 male Receptionist I spoke to all the time. He was awesome. Made a fantastic friend. I give it20 out of 10. Thank you team. I'll be back.

Maori complexion, tattoos on one forearm.
Remember the name, this woman is a CHAMP.
We dined in the restaurant, finding Amy sole-charge, waiting, running the bar, most of the room service orders, AND ALL of the dishes and cleaning of the area.
Meanwhile, 2 feckless guys who were seemingly there to cook, and making pretty hard work of doing sweet f-all, fluffed about the kitchen while Amy made the place run, feeding and hosting all the customers with friendly aplomb.
The place itself did "what it said on the can", clean and comfy enough for the price, nice & close to the airport.
3 stars overall, 6 stars for Amy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happy with the room for the price that we paid. Room was tidy, beds were comfortable. Parking is a bit weird, no allocated parking space for your room. Some random car was parked right outside our door. Because of covid restrictions our room wasnt cleaned but they had a self service trolley that you could get towels, tea & coffee etc from.
