★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to stop over for the night before flying home during the Coronavirus pandemic. The hotel was clean, efficient and accommodating to our needs. It was a good stay. The shuttle requires purchasing a ticket at the airport. Buy a round trio ticket there or take Uber. If you have more than two people consider Uber. It’s $6 each way on the shuttle. There are quite a few stops when returning to the airport. The grounds were great and the room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was good too. We paid for it when booking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really enjoyable stay at an excellent hotel. This really was one of if not the best airport hotels I've ever stayed at. The facilities, the rooms were excellent. When asking for an upgrade the staff couldn't do enough so a big Thank you for to them. The shuttle to/from the airport was another very handy option. The dining facilities were very good and the breakfast was great. All in all a very enjoyable stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poorly run and managed as an MIQ facility for community covid cases. Extremely poor food. Major lack of interest in peoples actual well being. Used more like a local holiday camp than a quarantine facility supposed to look after peoples health and safety. Total lack of interest from medical staff. Dont get sick because if you end up here you will probably get sicker with something else. Its going to take tjis hotel a huge amount of effort to get back up to standard after covid....if it survives at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another Managed Isolation person. The facilities were great I had a spacious room with an outside area - but the best was the staff. So friendly and obliging always. This includes hotel staff, armed forces staff and security - all top class. The whole process was efficiently managed with the minimum of fuss - well done all.
When normal times return I would definitely stay here when travelling and highly recommend to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent my 14 day isolation here and, if I had a choice, I would definitely choose isolation here.
I had a large room, crockery and cutlery were provided and every room has a sliding door onto either the garden, or your own balcony overlooking the garden.
The supplied meals are varied and there is a large quantity of food with plenty of fruit and vegetables and even snacks and soft drinks.
Everyone working here was friendly and helpful.
For me the food was a little bland and could have had more spices or interesting sauces, mint sauce with the lamb would have been much appreciated, also the mark-up on wine was very high.
These are very minor points and overall I feel that this is a very comfortable place for isolation, and would be a really convenient airport hotel in other times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6 Stars! I stayed here for 14 days of managed isolation and was really impressed with the staff and facilities. It was an unusual public health crisis situation and the staff were consistently professional and helpful at a 5 star level.
If they can pull off such high service levels with all the extra demands of working inside what is essentially a military quarantine facility then I honestly can't imagine how high the quality of the service is during normal times.
In terms of facilities, the hotel looks a little bit dated from the outside but the interior has been more recently renovated and the rooms are modern, clean and everything you'd expect at a 3 or 4 star business hotel. If you're used to travelling this will be like a second home. Very comfy bed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had our isolation here and our experience was very vood. Room provided to us didn't have much sunlight though. Staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. Food tastes a little bit bland, wish they could have introduce more variety and meal selection. Overall, it's a pleasant stay here in Holiday Inn Auckland.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have no teeth left and it took me three days to get that sorted. I'm here due to isolation and it has taken two days to get a walk out side. Honestly the food is the main problem and the fact that I seam to always get my food delivered cold. The staff tasked with looking after us have tried to help but the motel staff are very slow at reaction to requests. I would like to visit here when not in quarantine and see what this motel is like.
