★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shuttle picked us us from our delayed international flight at 2.00am. Arrived quickly to hotel and checked in, reception straight away offered us late check-out (no extra charge) because of our late arrival.
Great comfortable, quiet nights sleep, checked out at 11.30am and free shuttle back to the domestic Airport for our flight home. Great service and great hotel close to Auckland Airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's fine. A little shabby around the edges, but the staff are nice and the rooms aren't teeny-tiny -microscopic like the other airport hotel I shall not name (rhymes with "blibis"). The hotel bar has some decent wines and it's a good spot to sit and people-watch. The windows in the rooms open for fresh air, which is always a plus. The free shuttle gets you to the airport in 5 minutes, but be sure to book it in advance. Overall, an easy night 's stay between flights, but I would never go out of my way to stay there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed only one night for an early international flight and I really wish we could have stayed longer. The size of the rooms was very generous and they were very clean; the staff were ALL really friendly and accommodating; the food was lovely; and, the bar was well stocked. There are options to eat in the restaurant, the reception area in front of the TV, or in your room. Never, have I genuinely felt that nothing was too much trouble. I will return again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay the night before an early flight out. The room was big warm and very clean. Everyone, including the shuttle bus driver were super friendly and helpful. This hotel is good value for money and would happily stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently stayed for a week and after driving from Wellington was looking forward to relaxing before a very full week of business meetings. I was welcomed and given my room details and secure car park. The Hotel and room were nice, clean and comfortable. I entertained there 3 times in the evening and the food was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed the night before flying out after a holiday visiting family, and we were tired and not wanting any problems. So when we walked into the lobby I saw the bar, all bright and glittering, and I went over and asked if we could check in. The girls behind the bar started giggling and pointed across the room to the other side, the check in desk. We all had a good laugh. It was a great start.
Everything was good here at the Heartland, from being close to the hire car returns to the complimentary fast airport shuttle early the next morning. Having a bar and restaurant on site, along with late check in if you need it, made this the most convenient place we could be.
And it was comfortable, quiet and clean too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay you find yourself having to stay somewhere in Auckland before your domestic or international flight. We found Heartland Hotel. From booking to check out our time was pleasant. We booked through booking.com and included breakfast in our room charge (see later). We checked in late in the evening but were welcomed with a smile from the front desk. She checked us in and are rooms were spacious. It was only for one night but a nice room. I had forgotten about our car and parking for a longer stay and therefore was at the front desk again. She set me up with their on-site long-term parking ($7 a day). Totally worth it. You have the option to go to the restaurant or order room service for breakfast. We ordered breakfast to our room which was delivered hot and promptly on time (a lthough my wife said her eggs were too dry). Anyway, as we made our way for check out, our shuttle was waiting for us also promptly on-time, with a good morning from the driver to boot. We got to the airport on time and early for our flight. Our overall experience was very good and would consider staying there again. You should too you will not be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location was 5 mins from the airport. A courtesy bus was waiting when we emerged from the airport which was great after a midnight arrival. Office staff were polite, efficient and very accommodating. They kindly suggested changing our room to provide a walk in shower appropriate for my elderly father.
The beds and pillows were great. I slept well.
Breakfast was included for our stay, we were able to order whatever we wanted from the menu. Again polite, helpful staff.
Happy to stay here again.
