★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy with check in service, very helpful employees everywhere. Great to have a guest laundry, main reason I booked this hotel between flights, stayed 2 nights. Had to pay for shuttle, but very convenient as pick up at door regular schedule. Shopping area only 30 minutes walk away, so very convenient. Would definitely stay again. Would have been 5 star but pool area was filthy dirty, food, dirt covering everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here in Quarantine last year. The room was exceptionally clean, the food was great and plentiful. Nothing was any trouble for the staff. We were given a large bottle of water every second day, we could get our bathroom supplies about every 3rd day. i was also very appreciative of being able to go outside and walk around the carpark. My room over looked the car park so I faced west and enjoyed sunsets. i was very happy there and would be pleased to be able to do quarantine there again, any time. i cannot fault it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice clean facility and great customer service.
Why 1 star? Because you get sick of eating mostly chicken breast with steamed veges and potatoes or anything vegetarian day in day out because they don't have anything else regardless of knowing your dietary requirements in advance.
Unfortunetly staying here for the past 14 days and sick and tired of the food that we have paid for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ what to expect if you have the bad luck to stay at this hotel?
located next to a distribution centre you’ll have the beeping of trucks reversing into or out of loading bays wake you up well before the sun rises; you may have the additional bad luck of staying in a room ‘overlooking’ the roof of the lobby; the hand/body lotion will be so old and stale that dry clumps will be coming out of the dispenser; and to top it all, there will be short black curly hair all over the bathroom… falling out of ‘fresh’ towels as I learned with disgust. While it’s a MIQ hotel, you sadly have no choice but if it ever returns to operating as a regular hotel, do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Day 6 of my 7 day MIQ stay and I wanted to leave this review for the next fortunate group who find themselves wading through airport security eagerly trying to find out which MIQ hotel they'll be shipped off to.
If you're lucky enough to find yourself on a Sudima bus here's what you can expect.
1) Great food - better than I've experienced in quarantine at the Pullman NZ and in Hong Kong - you gon' get thiccc (three c's)
2) Warm, quiet and hygienic rooms - Honestly pretty lavish
3) Decent outdoor area and $7 bottled beers (Only thing better would be if you could drink the beers in the outdoor area, but yeah COVID)
4) Super friendly staff - from the security team, to the hotel team, to the nurses, everyone is an absolute pleasure to interact with. THANK YOU!
I've heard that some of the nurses have copped it from people staying here at the moment, which is what inspired this review - sure it's not ideal you are in quarantine, but you've got seven days and you're a hell of a lot luckier than the other 30K NZers who aren't home for Xmas -the staff here are doing YOU a favour so pull your head in and don't be a knob.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in MIQ for 10 days from January 30th. I just couldn't fault anything about my stay there. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Staff and DF personnel were fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming into my last day in MIQ. Just wanted to thank all of the hotel staff for their care and help with my stay. Food and meals were excellent, and they often went above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Comfy beds, clean rooms with great facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although I didn't stay here I was here for other reasons The staff here are very nice and helpful. It is very close to the Airport so perfect to stay if you have an early morning flight. I will probably come and stay in the near future.
