★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per il nostro viaggio in Nuova Zelanda abbiamo deciso di noleggiare un mini van, sapendo che era un metodo comune di visitare le due isole, ma la nostra esperienza non è stata tanto piacevole: partiamo subito dicendo che il van doveva essere pronto per le 10 e invece ce lo hanno consegnato alle 14... Capita, non succede niente, siamo in vacanza e non abbiamo fretta. Quando lo abbiamo ispezionato insieme all'addetta però ho notato subito che il rubinetto dell'acqua perdeva, così siamo stati costretti a rimanere fermi un'altra ora per aggiustarlo. Per fortuna la dipendente era di buon senso e ci ha rimborsato la giornata che abbiamo perso. Partiamo e... iniziano i problemi seri! Il più grave tra tutti era il riscaldamento che non funzionava: scriviamo email al centro di assistenza e ci viene detto prima di collegarci alla corrente, poi di riempire la bombola del gas (che per inciso doveva essere già piena) infine, dato che dopo tutto ciò continuava a non funzionare, ci hanno dato il nome di un'officina convenzionata. In sostanza la placca elettrica si era ossidata perché la scatola che la contiene è circondata dai tubi dell'acqua che sono pieni di fughe! Per colpa di ciò siamo stati costretti per una settimana a pagare l'ingresso nei camping con allacciamento alla corrente per poter usare almeno lo scaldino elettrico portatile. Al nostro rientro ovviamente abbiamo fatto presente questo e tutti gli altri piccoli problemi che sommati ci hanno creato un disagio. Mi dispiace valutarlo solo due stelle perché il personale è stato gentile, ci ha sempre aiutato e alla fine ci è venuto incontro, ma la manutenzione di questo caravan é veramente pessima... e per fortuna non abbiamo avuto problemi col motore!  For our trip to New Zealand we decided to rent a mini van, knowing that it was a common method of visiting the two islands, but our experience was not so pleasant: let's start by saying that the van had to be ready by 10 am instead they gave it to us at 2pm ... It happens, nothing happens, we are on vacation and we are not in a hurry. When we inspected it together with the attendant, however, I immediately noticed that the water tap was leaking, so we were forced to remain still another hour to fix it. Fortunately, the employee was sensible and repaid the day we lost. Let's start and ... serious problems begin! The most serious of all was the heating that did not work: we write emails to the assistance center and we are told before connecting to the current, then to fill the gas cylinder (which by the way had to be already full) finally, given that after all this still did not work, they gave us the name of a contracted workshop. In essence the electric plate had oxidized because the box containing it is surrounded by water pipes that are full of leaks! Because of this we were forced for a week to pay for entry to the campsite with electricity connection to be able to use at least the portable electric heater. On our return we obviously mentioned this and all the other small problems that added up to us have made us uncomfortable. I'm sorry to rate it only two stars because the staff was kind, always helped us and eventually came to meet us, but the maintenance of this caravan is really bad ... and luckily we didn't have any problems with the engine!
