★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Une horreur rien ne marchait correctement l allume cigare avait constamment un faux contact il suffit de voir sur la photo comme il a été réparé c'est dramatique ce qui m'a coûté de la nourriture du faite que la glaciaire qui est branché ne fonctionnait pas. Les rechauds ne fonctionnent pas il suffit de voir l état sur la photo il sont remplacé par deux rechauds qu ont ne peut posé que parterre du faite qu'il n est pas isolé et brule les support ou ont le pose. les essuies glaces ne fonctionnaient pas correctement et laissaient une grosse traînée d eau sur le pare brise ce qui est très désagréable pour la visibilité. Le cache du rétroviseurs arrière avait tendance à ce décroché et pendouillais pendant que je roulais . les pneu était dans un état d usure inimaginables ce qui a pour résultats une crevaison dont j'ai dû payer les réparations 165 dollars vous pouvez voir les photos. La tenue de route du véhicule qui n à plus de suspension est désastreuses pour pas dire dangereuses les moisissures au plafond et la rouille de la carrosserie du véhicule fini le tout. Je ne connais pas les normes en nouvelle Zélande mais dans mon pays il est interdit de rouler avec ce genre de véhicule. Je suis vraiment désolé d un commentaire si désastreux j'ai pas l habitude d êtres aussi négatif mais je ne peux pas trouvé de point positif. Pour avoir louer des véhicule sur les 5 continent même au fin fond de l Afrique je n'ai pas eu ça.
 A horror nothing worked properly the cigarette lighter had constantly a false contact it is enough to see on the photo as it was repaired it is dramatic what cost me food made that the glacier which is plugged did not work . The stoves do not work just see the condition on the photo they are replaced by two stoves that can only be placed on the ground because it is not isolated and burns the supports or have the pose. the windshield wipers did not work properly and left a big streak of water on the windshield which is very unpleasant for visibility. The rear-view mirror cover tended to hang down and swayed while I was driving. the tires were in a state of wear unimaginable which results in a puncture which I had to pay for repairs 165 dollars you can see the photos. The handling of the vehicle which no longer has suspension is disastrous, not to say dangerous, mold on the ceiling and rust on the vehicle body. I do not know the standards in New Zealand but in my country it is forbidden to drive with this kind of vehicle. I am really sorry for such a disastrous comment I am not used to being so negative but I cannot find a positive point. To have rented vehicles on the 5 continents even in the depths of Africa I did not have that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car has been in use for a few years - there were scratches and bumps all over. The documentation before we left was thorough so you won't be held responsible for something somebody else did. We had an issue with the cigarette lighter and had it fixed in a garage. We got reimbursed for the costs for repair without hesitation. Friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Collected the car in christchurch and saw it was scratched and banged up. No problem for us, but after driving 40 km, we noticed that there was mold in the car. On the roof, in a little compartment next to the handbrake. Called the office and we could go back to solve the problem.
A lovely lady cleaned the car and gave us new curtains and we got 1 day hire back. After the first night we noticed that there were still places with mold and the smell of the cupboard with the sink was like an old, wet basement.
The 2 burner stove was rusted and couldn't get used, it was stuck. They gave us 2 little camperstove's, wich is not a problem, but you don't have the place to put them in your car. So you have to look for a bench. We payed 25$ for 3 gas canisters(wich i tought would be for the integrated stove, and would probably cost around that mark) but got 3 canisters for the camping stove(wich cost 5$ in the warehouse for 4 canisters). But that is not the bad part: one of the canisters was not full and rusted. Also the door handle looked dodgy: It appeared that the car got broken into, and that this could happen easely again with a screwdriver.
The first night we sended an email for this and the door handle, but never got a reply.
Also really really cosy for 2 people(a double bed of 1m wide ...), but that's not their fault. For 1 person it would be a great car and a cool design, if they would renew the whole inside.
Postive note: the car only used around 8-10l /100k and drove pretty ok for an older car. They only needed to adjust the brakes, because there was a really big margin in pushing the brake and braking. Also a strange thing: when driving you plugin the coolerbox, but how do you recharge your gps then when there is only 1 12v plug and no usb...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rent a small campingvan at backpacker sleepervans and we’re really positive surprised. It was much bigger inside than we expected. The car was really great. We would recommend this company 100%. We had some mercanic problems and needed to have a break for around three days. The service was great. They organized a workshop for us and we didn’t have to pay for it in advance. So the paid for it directly by themselves.
After we were back in Christchurch we expect that we need to discuss a lot for get our money back for those three days, but it was more than easy. They gave us the money for the three days plus the fee we need to pay with our credit card. Really great service. Highly recommended.
