Thanks Tui! Had a great trip with my partner and two young children. The Van was clean, easy to set up and had all the equipment needed which saved packing lots of stuff that you would normally have to when camping in a tent. It was cold at night but we stayed snug and warm with the blankets and heater provided. We experienced great customer service and I would highly recommend using them

We have rented campers from here on multiple occasions and the vans have been exactly what we were after. Travelling with 2 kids we ensured to get a 6 birth camper so we would have the space we needed. Camper was very tidy and clean and well equipped with everything you need. Tui offer newer high end campers and and older fleet for those on a budget. Excellent rates and in the winter months and great customer service. Could not recommend them enough for those wanting to see travel NZ the best kind of way.

Campervan that I rented was fine, worked with no issues while pickup and drop-off were straight forward. My problem was with the staffing. I left a bond of thousands of dollars (as I opted not to pay for insurance) which was not explained to me at all and which questions were answered only when I asked them to explain. Upon drop-off, they then told me they would be holding onto my bond for 30 days in direct violation with the contract that I signed. The money was eventually returned to me after the 30 days, however, if you plan on renting from this shop, be sure you ask for all the details of this before you accept.

Stay away! Rented campervan Feb 10-17, 2017. Unsafe - bald tires (see pictures). Gas guzzling - 16L/100km while driving @ 80km/h and less (cost $232.81 to travel 900km) Poor, rude service - refused to give ride to Auckland airport, although promised as a service. It was NOT self-contained, severely restricting where one can legally camp with it. All this for $1,415.76, or $202.25/day!

Having waited for a request for a review from using this company, and not receiving it, I have decided to write a review on line. We wanted to support NZ mobile camping companies and felt ripped off. The people part is great, but campers are not. On-line viewing shows new vehicles and a level of comfort that is not there. I would like to discuss with management how to have a continuous improvement strategy and vehicle replacement policy. Also how to ensure people are getting value and having a positive experience while travelling our wonderful country.

Was initially worried about TUI based on all the terrible reviews... However our experience was definitely 5 stars. We rented the Deluxe Sleepervan for 14 days traveling from Auckland to Christchurch March - April. From initial booking to final return their customer service was friendly, polite and professional. The van itself had just had the interior revamped. The fold out bed was easy to use every evening and simple to put away and super comfortable. Tui gives you all your own bedding and let us grab an additional duvet cover which we definitely needed in the south (mid-April was cold). There was ample amount of space to fit 2 travel packs & 2 carry-ons plus all our groceries and the fridge was just the right size. We made coffee and breakfast most mornings using the built-in 2 burner stove and loved the french press that came in the kitchen supplies. This van had everything we needed and we had no problems. As with all vehicle rentals, just make sure you mark every single ding/scratch/chip etc. on the initial look-over with the agent so you don't get charged for something you didn't do. It was very cost-effective for us and didn't chug as much gas as we had anticipated either.

I've just returned from a two week South Island trip in the Tui Trail Adventurer. This camper was an absolute dream to drive - basically like driving a car but with the luxury of a shower, toilet and bed in the back. I had no troubles at all parking up wherever I wanted for the night and the diesel heater kept me nice and toasty! The camper is fully self contained and you can live off the grid if you want. I spent a few days of the two weeks parked at some amazing campgrounds - just because I had a lot of electronics to charge overnight and needed some human contact! There's really no better way to explore NZ, overall I'd 100% recommend!

???โค??We hired out the campervan for 7 days & went as far as Twizel & stayed at Lake Ruataniwha, van was extremely comfortable & very well equipped. Our van was also tidy & spacious, we had no problem with the vehicle at all during our travels. We will be using this service again but would like to go a lil bigger in size. Thank you very much Tui Campers for making our travels safe. Job well done guys ? ??โค???
