★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bit of an overdue review but I had brunch with my cousin here earlier this year before hitting the shops in Sylvia Park and I was pleasantly surprised. Decent food and service. I found the side of bircher so delish and I'm not normally a fan of bircher muesli - I might need that recipe! Looking forward to going back during the holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually love this place but feel the service has come down a notch. Blue bench cushions are FILTHY. These need to be cleaned or changed asap! Stained to high heavens. While the food and coffee is pretty good, service not so good and we watched 2 wait staff (including the manager(?) with his "cool hat and orange sunnies and mask worn as a chin strap) walk past a table FULL of dirty dishes and food everywhere about 3 times each at least. At least you got rid of the awful orange chairs that were so uncomfortable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for my brunch here, was gonna sit inside around the blue sofa seat but it was filthy, full of dust, crumbs and dirty stain along the seat so needed to move to sit outside.
I ordered eggs benedict with salmon. The food was bland and just a small portion. The drink (ice chocolate) was so-so.
From the price, I was expecting more quantity and quality.
The hospitality was great tho.
Ps. The bill was +10% holiday service charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I forgot to take pictures of the food the last time I came here but I’m always dropping by here for lunch when I’m at Sylvia park. Food that I’ve tried and we’re awesome the last time I was here: the charcoal chicken burger, fries, Filly Benedict. I ordered the green goodness drink today. A little too coconuty for my liking but the coffees are good. My only feedback is their chairs. They have this funky orange chair which definitely is eye catching but ain’t very comfortable or ergonomic to sit on. Other than that, great spot to have a bite and relax before continuing to shop again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good to average cafe. Food was average. We had a kids pancake and hash smash. Well presented but average testing food. Coffee was not good. Also had a Lamington from the cabinet, but it was more of a pound cake. Overall average cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have tried several cafes all over New Zealand but this place is very different and unique. Oh the flavours, oh the perfection, oh the plating. Visit Filly for a foodgasm! Hats off to the chef. Loved the hospitality too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had BRUNCH with this place at random pick after Church mass with the whole family including my grandchildren. Very clean and tidy even the toilet. Has space for little kids to play around, love the theme colour and ambience of the place. Not so pricey, has parking right in front of the property, delighted and joyful staff.
The downside was no one attending the entry door hence waited for a bit as instruction was to wait. Could be attributed to health protocols to follow during Orange traffic light.
Highly recommended to all folks out there.
