Mairead was very friendly answering my constant questions when booking and welcomed us on arrival.
Accommodation was excellent with a nice new kitchen and bathroom with a balcony looking out on the lake.
Location is just a 5 min walk from the town centre and comes with parking which is a huge plus. Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the second time we stayed with Garden Court. The room was clean as always, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a plus, only a few minutes walking distance to Queenstown CBD. Free parking (super important in QT).
We even had the same room as last visit ??? Just feel like home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you. We were so pleased to be upgraded, as this gave us a small peek of the lake (Frankton Arm).
Good sized unit, interesting built-in furniture. Well appointed kitchenette, with a dishwasher drawer.
A sign on the wall threatening to charge more if we didn't leave the unit tidy left a sour taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't rate this motel highly enough. Amazing service, and so well appointed. Spotlessly clean, outdoor seating front and back, huge bed, quiet, spacious, washer/dryer, big fridge/freezer. You could live here! We'll be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very fancy, modern accomodation. We stayed in a studio apartment. Wall between units had sound proofing on walls and heaters in the lounge/room and bathroom as well. Excellent water pressure. Clean and tidy throughout except one of the 5 towels had residual black marks on it, however it had clearly already been washed and bleached so not complaining on that. Beautiful rose garden right outside our room. Modern appliances including microwave, dishwasher, tv and a sound system. Very practical little reading lamps by the bed that didn't intrude on the person next to you and could be angled around if you needed it to point elsewhere.
Would stay here again but worth noting that tall trailers absolutely need to call ahead to book a couple of parks. There's only 2 spots along the back stretch that can comfortably take box trailers but it's tricky business getting them in there. Otherwise there's also the parking by the studio rooms but you'd need to get two parks behind each other and stick all the way to the right of the entrance from the side street or you'll scrape the tow ball badly.

The reception people were very nice too but one important thing that also made me choose the place was parking and I had problems with it in 2 of the 3 days I stayed. The parking spots are very narrow and if you fit between other cars or against the wall, you can't exit/enter the car.
In one of the nights I had to park outside.
But besides that problem, it is a good place to stay in general and pretty close to the gardens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked two bedroom, two bathroom balcony apartment and were not disappointed. Place was perfect for family of five and also had a well equipped kitchen with every appliance you would need (including a rice cooker!). Location was very close to town centre (about 5 mins walk) and they had undercover parking for our rental car. Reception staff were very helpful and, having travelled extensively overseas, the promo pictures of the property matched and in some cases exceeded what we expected. Would be more than happy to stay there again.
