★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its sooo beautiful ❤️ I really love it, the rooms are amazing and perfect size bed when u have a partner takes all the room lol,massive bed, the views are amazing you can't believe it , the water and waterfall, ducks with there older baby's, playground for kids, barbeque with seating perfect, sheared kitchen ? and you get to watch the sunset ? and sunrise ? . And there is great security around so you feel safe and good, a lovley rooster ? lol
I highly recommended to everyone to come and great price and worth every $$$

Unkempt lawn/grass areas, pool isn't up and running due to flood damage, rooms are dated and need a freshen up. The tvs are like early 2000s grainy tvs with only 3 channels.
Bit sad considering the view is absolutely amazing, lovely spot close to paihia. Great view of the falls and can rent kayaks to go down the river.
Staff are all really nice, would love to come back if it's redone.

Have the confirmation of bookings) I say can you cancel them and tell them it was a mistake she said no they paid already. I said it’s not fair it wasn’t my fault and she replied “well it isn’t my fault either” all they had to offer me was a 2 people closet practically. Absolutely poor customer service. Left me mentally frustrated and out of pocket by a lot for all the cancelled plans cause obviously there was no where else to book right on Easter Friday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This motel has the bones to be something great. Located right on the Haruru falls. They offer kayaks and life jackets which is great fun. And the stars are so crazy on a clear night. The receptionist is amazing as well as all other staff.
However, the pictures are very very misleading. The photos must have been taken a good 10 years ago. This is not 4 star accommodation as advertised. The rooms are clean however very dated. The building and the grounds are un tidy and the gardens are not kept. Their website states the pool is under going refurb however I highly doubt that, probably a cost issue which is understandable. The rest of the maintenance wouldn't require money just hard work. Book here if you require cheap accommodation but do not expect anything amazing.

The staff was so friendly.
We were only to stay a night but felt so comfortable decided to pay for another night.
It's where camping meets a motel in pure nature.
We had a lovely view of the Haruru falls too.
Simply amazing
