I would say its about average for a small resort restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in the Punakaiki Resort, it offers great selections of foods, priced similarly to anything else around. I had their brill (similar to sole) special one night and lamb ragu the next. I did spend for higher value wines by the glass. The service and staff were fantastic.
Punakaiki Resort is well worth the stay. Btw - Google’s pin is misplaced for the resort. Jacob’s Grill pin is actually the resort’s location.

Wouldn't get served because im staying across the road.
My money apparently not good here, mostly empty restaurant too.
Nothing open and don't really have any food for dinner tonight.
Shame.
One star, you can't eat here unless you have a room.

The beef was defo a winner for me. The pasta was not al dente though so a tad disappointed but still alright. Service was good.
