★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favourite places in NZ. The beach is stunning and the lake view is awesome. The camping ground is next to the beach so you can enjoy being all day in the lake not travelling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of those gems in Aotearoa, fresh water Dune lakes, beach life in Omamari, off roading, seals, tuatua, fly fishing and kauri forests all within 20 mins of each other! And on a great day you can watch Orca play! Love being here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to spend the day and have a swim. Water is clear and the beaches are clean. The beach shop has a great selection of food and drinks. Looses a star for the toilet facilities as they are in need of attention.
