★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was very disappointed staying here. $15 a night each + $10 for power + $2 each for showers. There were no cooking facilities and when we washed our dishes in a dirty outside tub there was no hot water. No discount for Nzmca either. We will not be back to stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible facilities. No showers, running water, plus the toilets they had on offer were blocked and had no evidence of maintenance. (No soap/ toilet paper) Staff were incredibly rude, especially the man with no teeth. Made my daughter cry with his tone and behaviour. Will not be returning. Such a shame, a family holiday turned nightmare because of this campground. Please re-hire more considerate staff that do their job properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Promenade is more secluded than Pine. The office at Promenade is open only on weekends. No showers. Recommend bring a solar shower, or shower at Pine, 3 mins drive away, where the main office is and a shop. What a beautiful lake. Recommend for kayaks and swimming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and clean campground. Registration was easy, $15 per person when I went. Host (camp manager) explained things well and was helpful. Toilets are in great condition, there is UV treated water on site in case you don’t bring your own. The lake is right by the campground.
